Match the product, strength and route

Products with similar names can contain different active ingredients, concentrations or formulations.

Identify
Read the full product name, manufacturer, active ingredients, concentration and expiry. Keep powders and liquids as separate references.

Match the plan
A topical product, drinking-water product and livestock injection are not interchangeable. Use a species-appropriate veterinary plan for treatment.

Record
Record the prescribed product, route, amount and dates. Do not infer a bird dose from a percentage concentration or an unrelated pigeon programme.
