Drinking and bathing are separate

- 01
Clean water
Clean drinkers and provide fresh drinking water daily. Observe that birds can reach and use the drinker.
- 02
Shallow bath
Offer a clean, shallow bath when the birds can bathe and dry comfortably. This Gouldian illustration uses plain water.
- 03
Remove and dry
Remove soiled bath water and clean the dish. Keep birds away from direct air-conditioning drafts while wet.
Bath salts and aromatic products need their own species-appropriate instructions. A pigeon bath reference is not a drinking-water recipe or a finch concentration.

- How it is given
- Bath water only; not drinking water or feed.
- Frequency / duration
- Manufacturer pigeon reference: once weekly throughout the year.
- Preparation

- Combining products
- Do not combine with disinfectants, antiparasitics or other bath products by assumption.
- Storage & handling
- Follow the actual tub’s storage and expiry instructions; keep dry and closed.
- Breeder tips
- An essential-oil bath product is not proof of effective treatment for bird mites.
Ingredients & analysis
Basic salts and essential oils of pine, eucalyptus and peppermint. The product page does not give individual oil concentrations.
Use & compatibility notes
Bath water only, not a drinking-water supplement. Pigeon feather-care claims do not establish safe use or parasite treatment for every finch; plain fresh bathing water remains the reference until suitability is confirmed.
The manufacturer describes antibacterial and feather-care benefits; those marketing claims are not adopted as a finch treatment protocol.
